Brass Y Type Strainer Screwed - WRAS Approved

A compact, easy-to-clean y-type strainer that features a removable drain plug and stainless-steel mesh screen. It provides an economical solution and is recommended for applications where damage to valves and other related mechanical equipment needs to be avoided.

Pipeline debris, including dirt and scale, is often the cause of failure, damage, energy loss and a reduction in productivity. The installation of a strainer is always recommended to ensure trouble-free service. The strainer features a brass body and bonnet with removable drain plug, PTFE gasket, and stainless-steel mesh screen; 0.5 mm mesh in sizes 1/4” to 2”, 0.8 mm mesh in sizes 2 1/2” and 3”, and 1.2 mm in 4”.

Available in the following sizes 1/4” (DN8), 3/8” (DN10), 1/2” (DN15), 3/4” (DN20), 1” (DN25), 1 1/4” (DN32), 1 1/2” (DN40), 2” (DN50), 2 1/2” (DN65), 3” (DN80), and 4” (DN100), with screwed BSPP end connections. The valve has a working temperature range of -20°C to +180°C, a maximum temperature for WRAS use of +85°C, and is pressure rated PN16. WRAS Approved (1/2” to 2” only).
